Accurate Dream Costumes in Bref 2 : A Memorable Collaboration!
You’ve been waiting for it, Bref is back! The cult series that defined a generation is making its long-awaited return with Bref 2, and at Accurate Dream, we had the privilege of contributing our expertise in costume design.
A Secret Project with Total Creative Freedom
Working on Bref 2 was both exciting and unique, the project was highly confidential. We weren’t allowed to reveal any details, but we were given a few visual guidelines, including inspiration from the '80s and '90s and the idea of bringing something visually fresh to the screen.
We had complete creative freedom in designing the costumes, allowing us to fully unleash our creativity. We crafted all the outfits, while the production team made a few final tweaks to ensure each look was just right. For instance, we designed the mother’s costume to be more comfortable while still matching the desired aesthetic for her character.
The entire design process was done remotely, as the cast was already on set. This brought some logistical challenges, requiring us to work with precise measurements and very close coordination to ensure everything looked perfect despite the distance.
Realistic Immersion Through Thoughtful Costumes
For this major comeback, the production focused on powerful visual elements in episode 3, that’s where we came in! The Bref 2 universe keeps the visual essence of the original series, while adding a modern twist. Our team worked with care and attention to design costumes tailored to each character.
Every outfit was crafted to reflect the characters' evolution and the new dynamics of the storyline. We worked closely with both the production and the cast to ensure every detail supported the narrative and enhanced the emotional impact of each scene.

Designing costumes for a comedy like Bref 2 is a fun and complex challenge: staying true to the characters while adapting to the often offbeat situations of the show. Our costumes were created to elevate key scenes and reinforce the tone of the series.
